MONEY magazine, September Issue, & THIS OLD HOUSE, Septemer Issue

Several months ago, a writer named Josh Garskof called me for information and research he was doing for upcoming articles.  We conferenced and talked in between several times.  The results are two articles in current issues of magazines you may already have, or may want to pick up on the newsstands.  Josh writes about consumer-interest areas of the home for MONEY, and I discovered he was already well versed in some of the nuances of home renovations (and, he was practicing on his own home, too).  We are now lively friends!  No doubt, we’ll collaborate more in the future.. .. .. .. ..

I’ve long read and loved THIS OLD HOUSE magazine, since for years Tom & I renovated home after home.  Not only did I read it cover to cover, but I collected them.  When we moved, I had over 15 years of issues carefully saved — that I gave away.  Here’s the current issue:

  In this issue, look for an article entitled “Read This Before You Remodel” — I wasn’t quoted directly in this article, but Josh game me a thank you on page 129.  Still, good reading and excellent insights into the dreaded remodeling process!  I love the energetic tone of Josh’s articles.
